Paul Nicklen was the overall winner of Veolia Environnement Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2012 and has specialised in photographing the hostile polar regions since 1995. Wrap up warm and enjoy a close encounter with a leopard seal, a magnificent bowhead whale and migrating narwhals, in this stunning showcase of some of his best work.
